Events
Vito specialises in running special events which he puts together with a focus on food and wine. These are great opportunities to bring together old friends or to find and meet new ones.
Each dinner which Vito organises showcases a different winery or wine domaine, giving his groups the opportunity to taste five different cuvées or vintages. The evening begins with canapés and a first glass of wine to taste, followed by a four-course dinner specially created by the restaurant’s Head Chef to match the wines which Vito will enthusiastically introduce and share.

I am very pleased to present Negro wines to explore the area of Piemonte.
Agricola Negro have been cultivating vineyards on the Roero hills since 1670 and have long been dedicated to making fine wines from the native, prestigious grape varieties, enhancing the identity of each one.
Their passion for the profession makes them proud custodians of a precious heritage of knowledge and traditions and with some of the most desired vineyard sites in Roero, the Negro winery is one of the indisputable legends of the region.
Giovanni Negro, the estate’s present owner, produced the first dry Roero Arneis on record in 1971. Following tradition, the winery in Monteu Roero now boasts a stunning line-up of Arneis as well as an impressive range of Roero Nebbiolo. Today, Negro observes organic practices while managing a staggering 64 hectares.
Vito will take you on a journey with Negro wines that he has chosen, each wine perfectly matched to a delicious four-course menu specially created by Chef, Michael Nizzero,
Taxi will be organized at 6.45pm to take the short journey from the Waterside Inn to Skindles (please settle directly with the drivers)

Wednesday 30th April wine Omina Romana Lazio ( near Rome ) at La Terra
ÔMINA ROMANA is a family-run vineyard and winery founded by the Börner family in 2007. When deciding where to start their business, they settled on the area of Velletri, among the lush volcanic hills of the Castelli Romani that overlook the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 40 km south of Rome. The project began with a clear vision, one which has inspired every decision from the time of its inception: to create a new sort of wine growing and wine producing business, one whose products would embody its values – an excellence of quality born of knowledge and science, passion and dedication.

Wednesday 28th of May Inman Winery California
We will host a winery which isn’t from Italy so we invited Simon and Kathleen back after last year’s successful dinner .
Kathleen Inman is the owner, winemaker, and general manager of Inman Family Wines and Olivet Grange Vineyard in Sonoma County, California.
A Napa Valley native, Kathleen started Inman Family Wines in 2000 with the planting of OGV 10.45-acre estate in the heart of the Russian River Valley.
Inman endeavors to produce wines that are naturally low in alcohol, high in acid, and food friendly. Often an innovator and trend-setter, Inman was the first new California luxury brand to launch using 100% Stelvin® closures in 2002 and was a pioneer in the revival of California rosé, producing her best-selling Endless Crush ® rosé since 2004, long before they became a staple in California wineries.
